Cytokine Receptors
Cytokine receptors are specialized cell surface proteins that bind cytokines - small signalling molecules involved in immune responses, inflammation, and cell communication. Upon binding their specific cytokines, these receptors activate intracellular signalling pathways that regulate cell growth, differentiation, and immune activity. Cytokine receptors play key roles in both normal immune function and various diseases, including autoimmune disorders and cancer.
