Interleukins
Interleukins are a group of cytokines - small signalling proteins - that are primarily produced by white blood cells and play essential roles in regulating immune responses. They mediate communication between immune cells, promoting cell activation, differentiation, and migration. Interleukins are involved in both pro-inflammatory and anti-inflammatory processes and are key targets in the treatment of autoimmune diseases, infections, and cancer.
