hACE2
Human ACE2 (hACE2) protein, extracellular domain (ECD), is the soluble portion of the angiotensin-converting enzyme 2, a membrane-bound enzyme involved in the regulation of blood pressure and cardiovascular function. The ECD of hACE2 serves as the primary entry receptor for coronaviruses like SARS-CoV and SARS-CoV-2 by binding to their spike (S) protein. Recombinant hACE2-ECD is widely used in virus-binding studies, drug screening, and therapeutic research.
